Ph.D. student Conference at Plant biology CS2019 : English
Conference Plant Biology CS 2019 – abstracts written in English are preferred.
Ph.D. students can present their work also at General Conference Plant Biology CS2019,

You can have oral presentation  at Student Conference and poster at General  Conference. Please submit only 1 abstract.


Abstracts will be published in the Bulletin of the Czech Society of Experimental Plant Biology.

Presentations & Posters instructions

Instructions for Speakers
Plenary presentations will take place in P1+P2 electronically joined lecture halls at the
Faculty of Philosophy.

Lectures in sessions in the lecture halls in buildings C and B of the
Faculty of Science (see programme, map of the campus).

Standard presentation equipment will be available (Win PC, projector, presenter/pointer).
Connection to own laptop (Win/Mac) will be available, however to keep the time schedule,
we would appreciate if you could upload your presentation before the session from a
flash disk.
Please, contact chairperson (or someone from organisers) during lunch or coffee breaks
before your session to upload and test your presentation.

Instructions for Poster presentation

Recommmended poster size is A0 (dimensions of 118.8 x 84.1) and portrait orientation. Poster boards will accommodate this dimension.

In Students Conference:

All posters can be displayed from Sunday 10:00 till Monday 20:00. Poster Session Sunday

In General  Conference  there will be two groups of posters:

Posters assigned to Sessions 1-10 can be mounted on Tuesday morning and displayed till
Wednesday 16:30 (dismounted during coffee break). Poster Session I will be held on
Tuesday 18:45-19:45. Authors are kindly asked to attend their posters at that time.

Posters assigned to Sessions 11-20 can be mounted on Wednesday at 16:30 (during coffee
break) and displayed till Friday 13:00. Poster Session II will be held on Thursday 13:15-
14:15. Authors are kindly asked to attend their posters at that time.

The ID number of your poster can be found in the Programme & Abstracts Book.

Please hang your poster on the poster board labelled with the ID of your poster.
Fixing material should be available in the Poster Area.

Student and young researcher  competition/award
If you are a student or young researcher of/under 35 years of age and you want to take
part in the competition for the best poster award for the young scientists, please mark
your poster with the colour sticker available in the Poster Area.

Drinks will be served during the Poster Session. Use two vouchers you have got during
registration and exchange them for the drink during Poster Sessions on Tuesday and
